Senior High School 1 bukittinggi or usually called SMA Negeri 1 LANDBOUW Bukittinggi is one of the most favourite high school in Bukittinggi city.This school is highly qualified as professional educators, facilities and infrastructure, and most importantly, the regulations will discipline is very high.
With the quality of SMA N 1, students can develop the potential of both intra-and extracurricular activities available. For students who are a little difficulty with the financial, SMA N 1 also provides scholarships for underprivileged students and student achievement. In addition, SMA N 1 Bukittinggi is located in a strategic place and close to the city center easily reached by public car.

SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi is the oldest high school in Bukittinggi city.SMA N 1 Bukittinggi was established on July 23, 1959. The school is located on the Sheikh M. No. Jambek Jamil. 36 (Lanbouw), Pakan Kurai groove,Bukitinggi.This school is Internasional standard school started in 2006 and included 5 SMA R-SMABI first in Indonesia.
SMA Negeri 1 Dublin birth of Fractional High School District is located in Bukittinggi ABC Birugo (SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi now) in 1957. At first the school was known as the 1B State High School in 1959 and moved its location to the current location of the road Jambek No. M Jamil Shaikh. 36 (Landbouw) Bukittinggi. The main building SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi which began construction in 1957 and completed in 1959 was government aid, given Bukittinggi is the central or the provincial capital of Central Sumatra
In 1957, SMA Negeri 1 Dublin was originally a part of the high school located in Birugo ABC, precisely at the location of SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi today. Since 1958 the school was moved to the location of the Shaykh M. No. Jambek Jamil. 36 (Lanbouw) Bukittinggi, and the building is completely ready for use in 1959.
